Our History

In 1993 Robert and Hilary Chadwick transformed a friend’s tired mobile home into a luxury holiday retreat in the South of France. What began as a single renovation project quickly revealed an exciting business opportunity.

Inspired by the success of that first transformation, they sent a simple mailing campaign to fleet operators across the UK. Their very first contract arrived later that year from Butlins in Pwllheli where they were commissioned to completely refurbish 62 holiday caravans.

That landmark project marked the beginning of Chadwick Design – a family business built on innovation, trust, integrity and a person-to-person approach.

This trust soon led to opportunities on a larger scale – bars, restaurants and a wider variety of public spaces - each project reflecting their ability to produce functional, well-designed environments designed to enhance the guest holiday experience.

Today, Chadwick Design works alongside a wide range of trusted partners to deliver complete refurbishment and interior design solutions. Collaborating with architects, principal contractors, signage specialists, bar builders and installers, electrical contractors, decorators and many other skilled trades, the company plays an integral role in projects of every size.

While co-ordinating seamlessly with these complementary businesses, Chadwick Design remains the dedicated supplier of furniture, flooring, soft furnishings and accessories providing clients with a complete interior package that combines quality, functionality and design.
